This innovative museum website is dedicated to Titanic and her birth in Belfast. The most famous ship in history is pictured and interpreted through our unique and internationally important Titanic collections.
In particular we focus on historic shipyard images of Titanic under construction by Belfast shipbuilders Harland and Wolff Ltd. A key feature of this site is an easy-to-use facility to view, select and purchase a wide range of Harland and Wolff shipbuilding photographs, of Titanic and her sisterships, Olympic and Britannic, directly from the Museum’s archives.
Today, Titanic is a worldwide brand, fusing profit, pleasure and memorialisation. In the great ship’s Belfast homeland, new visions for the future include the celebration of a proud Titanic past. Titanic and the shipbuilding heritage which she represents are now important signifiers of regeneration in the city of Belfast.
The purpose of this website is to provide information about the White Star Line’s famous ‘Olympic’ class liners, presenting the latest research on all three ships and directing readers to Mark Chirnside’s current and upcoming books which are widely acknowledged to present a mass of little known facts and information. Topics covered range from Robin Gardiner’s Titanic ‘conspiracy’ theory, to Olympic’s later history, and the most accurate listing of Britannic’s officers available to date.
This is the feature site from Discovery for the 2 hour tv show premiering July 24. It would be James Cameron last visit and the newest technologies have been utilized like 2 mir subs and fibreoptic for live feed.

This site is the only one that will give readers the ability to virtually be on Titanic and to provide timely comments to scientists back on Keldysh - as they happen. Additionally, this weblog will report daily on the leading-edge scientific research that is undertaken at the site of Titanic.
