Also, every crew member was arrested( well technically, they where held), so his name would come up in the list of people arrested in New York City but it did not.

Those lists are just correct, NOT wrong, there is no chance they are wrong, even if one list was wrong the other would show up the error, the number of people saved, along with those who died all add up. Unless he stayed in a room with someone, and he did not want payed for working, then the list is correct. Have a look at the lists, it is an established fact. I even took the liberty of looking at names that could be his (an alias and such), but they where proven to be other people.
