'A Night to Remember' is the movie 'Titanic' wants to be. No sappy love story about two fake people that people almost seem to think are real.

However, the story will never be visually better than James Cameron's movie.

I'm surprised that people are "fans" of the Titanic don't know about this movie. It is only about 50 years old.

Its about a ship that . . . . well.

Its told in almost a documentary style. Using only facts as they were known then. Watching the criterion collection allows for the understanding of the symbolism used in this movie.

It tells the story of the ship and the events that lead to its sinking, it isn't a backstory for two people.

even though i have not seen a night to remember, the 1997 version had better picture quality and a decent storyline.

A night to remember was a great film. I like this movie because i think that this movie could tell the true what happen in that fateful night of April 14-15 of 1912.

I thought it was very accurate actually, most of the charectors where real ppl , like john jacob aster etc. They consulted the real plans which the 50s one did't. but cameron had a huge budjet.

Johno of uve not seen it then how could u know?
