I seen it and thought Dicaprio was very good in it, I just hope Martin Scorsese gets his acadamy award, I know it did well at the BAFTA's. ( I think that is how you spell his name)

You see the problem with scorcese is that he misses out on awards due to his ownself. He missed alot of info out in the aviator and cut alot out, i myself know because i have read many books about the life of howard hughes. He probably will get an award for the film but he could have done better and improved it. The same with his other, films 'gangs of new york' that could have been improved.

But a film is always cut for time, I mean the Titanic 1997 was cut from hours and hours of footage. So to was the lord of the rings and any film you care to mention, so scorcese can't be singeled out for that. I believe he deserved to get an award for gangs of new york but he did't.
But they are many other deserving directors |

also howard hughes(lionardo di caprio) had many love affairs with woman and only one or two were mentioned. kathrine hepburn and ava gardner. he had more long term affairs than these two but scorcese put them in it because they were famous at the time.
scorcese , tut tut tut tut |

All he is doing is making the film appeal to the widest audience, true he could of included more but then the film would be only worth while for die hard fans not the general public. Remember a film must do as well as possible and if that means missing stuff out then so be it.
