They are brining the rich heritige of Belfast back, the place of Titanic's building is to be redeveloped and made a true tribute to Titanic. But are they going to make any reference to Oltmpic and Britannic?

Indeed, open it up to the masses, I went to a musem recently, someone came up to me and we spoke about Titanic. She went on to say only one of them. I then explained the other 2 and she had no idea of them.

I am not so updated about the Titanic Quarter, but i can well understand why olympic and britannic is left out of the loop totally, its never mentioned off on titanic quarters site or so.
I ever tried to get contact with the people managing Titanic Quarter but they never responded. either, they didn't seem to concern about the heritage and name more than what can be built in terms of buildings right now to make profit and what not rather than uphelding the name. It could as well be named Harland and Wolff parc or Belfast marine park which would be more nueatral and allowing for a small titanic memorial than to call the land plot titanic quarter, its a nice name but if the movie didn't come out they wouldn't have used it i think. They would like to have multinationals of today's time housed there on a land plot named Titanic Quarters, it doesn't really sound profound. if you take a step back its not to congratulate about that ship sank on its maiden voyage. I really have yet to see where this is all going, what do you think? |

If it where any other country in the world then something would of been done, but it is not high up in British priorities (or Irish up to you what it is), though I would imagine it would be a great tourist attraction.

At last, the first details of Titanic Quarter's redevelopment has been revealed, albeit in the south of France. Check out the local news story;
