if you are asking about the ultimate fate of the Mauretania the she was used for carribean liquor cruises and some runs to the medditeranian for which she was painted white. In the late 20's the Mauretania was stripped of its fittings (which would later be sold at acution) and cut up for scrap metal around the same time period as the Olyimpic this was also around the time when White star line and Cunard line were forced by the british goverment to merge

Just if you were curios

well Edward9139 the Mauretania was a magnificent liner but as well as the oylimpic she became outdated and to much of a cost to keep running during the deppresion also the Cunard and the White Star Line when the merger took place each agreed to get rid of 1 liner and the Mauretania was just geting to old for competing against liners like the breman and the normandie
also she was scrapped in July 1935.

oh and 1 other thing the Mauretania's madien voagae took place
on November 16th 1907 and laid down in mid 1904 launched 1906.

well, actually i dont know much about Mauretania... but, i do really think... when titanic went down into the ocean, White Star must have closed its company... not being building new ships which at least none of them worked very well.... all of them were weak... just like titanic's iron were made the other ones
so the point is... if a ship of white star line... an example: Mauritania hit with an iceberg..!! in a few hours it'll sink
it'll be the same chain as in titanic happened... build, hit n sink, build, hit n sink!! i bet white star line must have not been thought in lifeboats... they must have noticed that the iron was weak... n try to make it better! titanic was a beautiful ship! n if it hadnt hit that iceberg it still would be the greatest ship on earth!
guys.. we are in 2005.. the ships that are being building now are not luxurious as titanic was! they just make them modern...
so... how can be that possible!? titanic was designed in 1909 kind sort of... i dont remember the exactly date... but it was built in 1910... so.. there are 95 years back then... how can this ''modern lines'' cannot build a luxurious ship than titanic!? maybe they are afraid to spend so much money? or if the ship hit an iceberg as titanic!

guys if someone knows the anwser of the question: why is not a ship on earth most luxurious than titanic?! please answer the question..
see ya!
