Just how big was Titanic? (in meters not feet) And can someone perhaps give an indication how this compares to the Queen Elizabeth 2? I have always thought that both are relatively alike in length. I may be wrong. And would 1 inch thick hull plating provide any protection in a head-on collition?

Titanic was 269 metres long. To change metres into feet u use 3.28 divide or multiply depending on what u need to do. I dont have the QE2's length handy so I can't say.

To bad u didn't know that credit 2 boy

Boi ahahahahah boy maybe zingggggggg

the QE2 is bigger than Titanic just found out, though I think Titanic liiks bigger, but anyway, has anyone else heard of this queen victoria ship coming.

Titanic even with 1 inch deep steel still could of tacken a head on colision.
