Well I did a little search on the internet and to my disappointment found "www.titanicresort.com". Although all the websites are copyrighted 1997-2002, I sent a note to the contact and supposedly the resorts are being currently being constructed in Las Vegas and Belfast. I dont know how much truth there is to that though. My idea was of only the ship as the hotel/museum, and as an exact replica. Which this resort is not. I thought of maybe doing a proposal on it just for fun...

I watched the Discovery Channel this morning and the program was Extreme Machines.

It was talking about the TITANIC. Near the end of the TITANIC section of the program it began to talk about the TITANIC II. From what i heard and seen, the TItanic II will have most of the original carpets and she is said to be 65 metres longer than the first TITANIC which brings her length to 334 metres.

The TITANIC II will be the second biggest luxiury liner in the world.

That's cool. My boyfriend said that he would not go on it becuase it's going to sink again. lol

But I have not heard much about it so I was not 100% sure if they were going to build another one or not.

I think when the real titanic at the bottom of the ocean starts to degrade to an extent where it can't be recognized any more, maybe they will build a non water worthy replica.

The movie Titanic did make one at fox baja but they crubmled it down to make space for other ocean movies. See

I am not sure if they'll get the financing required for such a plan. Using the same name would still give it a glitch.
