Does anybody know if Titanic will be re-released in theaters to celebrate the special edition coming out? If anybody knows, that would be great. Thanks, bye.

there might be because the passion of the christ a recut is coming out for easter to commemerate the death of christ.

i hope they do bring the titanic out in the cinema's to commemerate the special edition dvd

Yeah, when it came out in theaters for the first time i was six years old. Too young to see it then. That will be one of my biggest regrets if they don't re-release it. I begged my parents, but they wouldn't let me.

Chances are it won't be re-released in theatres. It really doesn't make all that much sense to do that at the same time of releasing a special edition.

Keep an eye out for the theatres near you because sometimes they can do a "oldies" thing and for a day or two play one of the big blockbuster movies such as Titanic or Gone with the wind, etc.. I know one near me did 2 years ago.

Yeah my local cinema done that once but not much turned up for the screening so they decided to cancel all re-releases from now on, bummer.

but there was some protests from a group of ppl and i think and it has made them rethink about it.

I'd be open to a new release, i'd for one go to see it
