SAN DIEGO -- A new inflatable amusement park in Mission Valley is being forced to take down one of its slides.

The "Titanic Adventure" will be deflated after one man found it offensive.

Samuel Livingston said one of his relatives helped recover bodies from the ocean after the Titanic sank in 1912 when it hit an iceberg. More than 1,500 people died.

"Yes, it was 93 years ago, but I hope in 93 years we don't have inflatable twin towers," Livingston said.

A spokeswoman for the mall said they will take the Titanic jumper down Friday.

But the park's operator is hoping to somehow keep it up and may paint over the name "Titanic."

Mean? Does anyone not agree that an inflatable clearly depicting the Titanic hitting an iceberg and sinking being used as an entertainment device for young people to jump on is perhaps a bit disrespectful?

Call me old fashioned, but what's next, inflatable Shulttle Colombia?

could be. don't think it's too offensive though. i mean, it's not as if they placed it in frigid ocean water and are throwing innocent children off of the side of the ship. most of the kids don't realize anything except for the fact that it's a slide and they wasnt to ride on it. we hav one of those at our fair every year and i don't think anyone is offended by it

Here is a mind teaser that is easy to answer or look up if you don't know everything!

1. Of the 13 on board honeymooning couples onboard the Titanic, only three couples; escaped together. The other men drowned, leaving their newlywed wives widows. Who were they?

"ll start a new topic line" with some really interesting facts.
