what do you guys make of the book futility?

It was written in 1986 years before titanic was even a dream,
it is a ship as big as the titanic (who would of belived that a ship would ever sail as big as titanic all these years before she did!)
it was about a ship called the titan that sank after hitting an ice berg with as few life boats as the titanic.

Its weird because the white star line always added the letters IC to the end of their ships names it was a mild not in youre face company tradition that they had always used but remove this tradition and oh you are left with the Titan!

to thurver back up that Morgan had some powers he wrote again another book about the Titans sister ship Britanic that sank after been struck by a torpedo!

I have read this book and I must say it is far far far from the best book i have read it is infact one of the worst books I have ever read but it always plays a note in the back of my mind that the story must be more than a coincidence.

Morgan later claimed that he had ther powers to see all sorts of things maby he did what do you think?

I believe Futility was "republished" with some changes after Titanic sank. I'd like to read both versions to find out just how much it was adapted after the real sinking.

I know that a few of his stories were of a quite similar story line many of them were considerd to be the story of the titanic, although i know the name was changed from futility to the wreck of the titan. a number of pomes and stories from various writers have since apeard that were all writen previously

pardon me if i'm wrong... but if the book was written in '86 then how could it hav been written before she sank?
