The lowest fare for third-class passage was approximately $36.25 one way for a single person willing to share a cabin. In second-class, the starting price for similar travel terms was $66. First-class started at $125, but could escalate quickly depending on the size and décor of the room. The highest priced deluxe suite was priced at £900, or $4,500. This was a fabulous sum of money when an ordinary home could be purchased for less than $1,000 dollars, hence the nickname: "The Millionaire’s Suite."

If they make a titanic 2 what do you think they will charge for a passage?

I'm afraid all the talk about a Titanic II is futile. There won't be a ship for the name sake of Titanic to be afloat again. There are issues of naming a second ship after a resting place of over 1000 ship wreck victims, any sailor of the sea knows it be bad luck to name a ship after such a unlucky ship.

As far as a price now adays the sea fare be the fair price set by other profitable luxuary ships already afloat.

A ship built today and named the Titanic would not be nothing more than just another ship. There would be not be the same grandiosity or sumptuousness in the air around a second ship that only by name bore any resemblance.

i would like to see a real luxery ship. not one of the new ones with all that technology, but one like the titanic that u hav to entertain urself on. that'd be cool. i hav nothing wrong with the new ships except for the fact that it'd be pretty cool to see an old-fashioned style one

See! and everyone says girls are dumb! Here is one with some smarts. Don't worry shirarox you will never see a Titanic II in your life. No more than we can look forward to a Hindenburg II, or space shuttle Columbia II.

I agree with Edward I would love to see a ship built on the basis of luxury with a wow interior! But as we all know it would be equipped with the relevant safety equipment & not the old cork life vests as captain jack seems to find we meant! Very Funny.
