The technical aspect (regarding the sinking) seems as true to life as he could have possibly made it. However the historical characters' actions and dialogue is impossible to compare to reality. We will never know for sure.
Need I remind everyone that the 1955 "A night to remember" contained alot of mistakes of it's own. The beginning shows the launch of Titanic with a lady cristening the ship with a champaign bottle. That is as inaccurate as putting Elvis in the band next to Wallace Hartley. |

not really. i agree with Clinton. the only realistic part was the sinking. the rest of the movie was built around two made-up characters
|
