A couple of years ago I visited the traveling Titanic exhibit in Atlantic City, NJ, and in the gift shop I saw two or three art prints for sale of the ship signed by a Titanic survivor. Question 1: Does anyone know how I could go about obtaining of of these? Question 2: Are there currently any survivors still living?

For signed prints, melvina dean had put down a hand print in a clay tablet at a company in canada, they are selling it at an undisclosed price. The survivor is Melvina Dean and a couple of other girls, all the guys are gone.

ther are three survivors still living
1-Lillian Gertrud Asplund, she 5 at the time and lost her father and three brothers, she doesnt like to talk about titanic.

2-Barbara Joyce West, was just 10months old and is now married and lives near to me, she doesnt take part in any Titanic related things but keeps in contact with the British Titanic Society.

3- Elizabeth Gladys "Millvina" Dean was the youngest survivor at just 9 weeks of age. lives in uk and attends many titanic conventions. :D

Bess,

Isn't there a convention/autograph show in your area called
(I believe) autographica? that sells Millvina autographs?

I cannot think of the man's name who I dealt with through the internet. But He dealt specifically with Millvina.

You might also check out the BTS memorabelia shop ( http://www.titanicmemorabilia.co.uk/P_index.html ) , and the THS shop at http://secured.titanichistoricalsociety.org/shop/tek9.asp Sometimes things drift in you may want - I'm currently drooling over the piece of carpet at the BTS site.

I'm writing mainly just to move this link back up towards the top. There's a couple things on those sites (thanks for them) I really want, but I have NEVER been able to make paypal work--ever. Have heard nothing but bad stories about them and have tried to get rid of my useless account--but can't even do that. Soon's I saw that they use paypal I said, 'Aw nuts I'm not going to get what I wanted'.
I screwed around with them for over a half hour....
And...I was right.
