Hey everybody, ive been hearing a lot about this ship called the Titan. Was it an actual ship, or was it a book that some guy wrote in the 1800's or both?

It was a book, no ship ever called that, but it was remarkable similar to the titanic story, the Titan was a new liner on maiden vouage, nearly 900ft and I think it hits a berg as well. Think it was just a coinsidence,
