cte53271,
That's the plan. The latest I've heard, Nomadic was on her way over to UK for restoration. As I've heard, she'll be displayed at the Titanic Exhibition they're planning. |

Nomadic is in Le Havre , France at the minute. She has been saved from the scrapyard and will be on her way back to Belfast, to the shipyard where she (and Titanic) was built to be restored. As to her final plans, (ie. museum, restaurant, conference hall, etc) I don't think it has been decided yet, but it will play its part in the proposed Titanic Tourist Project(see my post elsewhere about that)
I get the feeling that the world's media will be in Belfast the day it returns, so no doubt you will hear when that will happen. I have also signed up to help in its restoration, so hopefully I can keep everyone up to date as the restoration starts. I can't wait!!!!!!! For further info, check www.savenomadic.com Strider_uk |

The RMS Carpathia sank in World War One, on July the 17th 1918. Carpathia was travelling in a convoy, bound for Boston when she was struck by two torpedoes some 120 miles west off Fastnet, Southern Ireland. A third torpedo hit the ship, finally sending her to the bottom. She was discovered by Clive Cussler.
