hey i've always wondered wether titanic would break in half if the water tight doors where left open, i thought about this because it dawned on me that if the water wasnt conatined in compartments then spilling over to the next, then the stern wouldnt have raised soo high in the air, so theyre wouldnt be dat much pressure and if titanic dint break in half, would she be in a better condition now?

why did the lights stay on even when 60% of the ship was submerged and why did the first funnel topple over? ocording to the film the first funnel collasped, this could be because of the angle of the ship , this can't be true because none of the others did untill the ship broke inhalf! so wat was with the first funnel, why did it buckle and topple over?

Think it was because something like an expansion joint colapsed and therefore the funnel rolled a little, and then the ropes snapped, which held it in place then it topled over.

yes i was wondering the same about it... if the lightdoors wouldn't been closed... the ship would have never splited into two, but im sure it would have sunk in less than an hour...

besides.. if the lightdoors wouldn't been closed more ppl would have died that night... cuz.. at the very end, a few minutes before the ship splited into two... there were still ppl gettin into the lifeboats...

so... now the ship is in a owful structure... well, the stern has a horrible state now... the prow its at least underground but still with a better look than the stern..

hey guys u can add me... lol i really like to talk about titanic n other stuff... here... or

The first funnel fell because the lines broke.
