Lots of fans have asked James Cameron if Rose is supposed to be sleeping or dead in the ending. But he says it's your decision. I agree though- I believe she lived a good life and did everything she wanted to, then she returned to Jack, her one true love. <br />That's technically a "happily ever after" ending, but I think at the same time it does not end happily ever after because Rose and Jack did not make it off the Titanic together and get married and live their lives together. But I like it better the way Cameron wrote it. It would not have been as moving if they had survived together, and knowing some couples were separated, it is more truthful to the real event.

i think she was stupid because if she stayed on the lifeboat im sure jack couldve found a way to survive. so i think she is stupid.

I think Rose should of died whit Jack. That is what I would of done. Look at it like this, if Rose would of died there would be no story to tell.

rose was not stupid.she was going to jump off the ship because she was being forsed to get married.i would jump to.and she jumped back on the ship from the life boat because nobody wants to dye alone.hey and thet axe was prabable pretty heavy,but she and jack risked their lives for each other "you jump i jump remember."if you loved someone as much as they loved each other you'd do exactly what she did.once again im only 13!

I dont care if she promised I would of died with my love. If that was you Dancing on Titanic would you have died with your true love.

i would have died at first but u can't break a promis like that! plus that would be like not listening to him and doing what she thought any ways.

I would of later commited suicide.
