actually i think she got married. at the end of the movie she has a different last name. cant remember what it was.

Yeah she got married. Had kids, and her grandaughter was the girl that took care of her (the lady was James Cameron's wife) Anywhoo she did fulfill the promise she made to Jack, and she was not a prostitute

At the end of the movie, when the carpathia is pulling into new york, she takes Jacks name, and says her name is Rose Dawson. (heck, they would've gotten married anyway, right?)
If you listen to the crazy guy at the beginning, he says that she gets married to a guy named calvert, moves to cedar rapids, and punches out a coupple of kids. This gets me excited to have so many Wisconsin references in the movie. (Cedar Rapids, Lake Wasota, Chippewa Falls, etc...) I live in WI |

I agree. They would have gotten married anyway! But what I don't get is how Rose moved to Wisconsin, but it wasn't Chippewa Falls. I thought she would have moved there because that's where Jack was from.

i think tat rose could hav had a child from jack. they did hav sex didnt they. it couldve happened. if so, tat would be so cool. also if he didnt die they would hav gotten married anyway b/c in the end wen the carapathia was pulling into the dock in ny, wen the crew member wanted to take her name they said...
"can i take ur name, love?" said the crew member "rose, rose dawson." said Rose "thank you." said crew member and last time i check jack's last name was dawson!!!!!!!!!!!! |
