Titanic is barely holding her self up, there's no way she could withstand the immense amout of force that would be placed on her in an ascent to the surface (unless she was brought up super-duper slowly). Impossible I say.

better chance of raising the brittanic than titanic and to what extent would it accomplish to uncover the remains of ppl which lie with the titanic, leave the ship there i say, let nature take its course.

Sadly...........the only remains are shoes glasses etc, and there being lifted back to the surface to be put in musems

why does everybody "swear" titanic 2 is being built? nobody has seen pictures, and its always neing built in africa, or newfoundland or some other place, but no search of the internet produces any pics...just a urban legend is all, now if somebody will give me a link with actual photos of it being built , then i will publicly apologize for my remarks, but every titanic site, they all claim a new ship is being built but i have yet to see the proof, or when its to be done.

Nope no ship is being built, the africa thing is because, a few years back a wealthy gentleman wanted to build it there but no such thing happened. As of today there is no serious bid to build a new titanic.

thanks for the info there...I figured it was just a urban legend that everybody swears too but never happens, there is no way a large vessle like that could be raised and if they did the cost would be out of this world, and for what point? soon as they got it back to land the air would make it rust away even faster, and best to leave it there as a grave, same thing when they found the Bismarck they wanted to raise it too, and its even deeper than Titanic, and then they wanted to talk about raising the Yorktown...granted it would be cool to raise them all but its not been done, and will never be done due to too many factors, best to preserve what artifacts you can and leave the rest alone
