IN the movie titanic..they show Jack Dawson, managing to swim out of the suction..

According to history..there were 55 people pulled out of the water AFTER the SHIP sank... 4 of which were pulled out by boat 14 which back BACK for passengers..

Did any of those 4 survivors mention if they were RIGHT next to the suction but were able to get BACK UP to the surface?

I read there was a man that held onto the rail when the ship went under and never got his hair wet! But keep in mind that you can't believe everything you read. I'm sorry if there are typos in this thing. I put on fake fingernails tonight and am still having troubl learning to type with them on. (or keep from losing them. )

TitanicSoul, why are you using my name in everything you say to me? You make it seem like you think you're so much better than everybody else and you can treat people like dirt.

You don't have to say my name every time. I GET IT!!!!!!!!!

he's mexican relax

anyways, the doubt anyone could have swam out of the suction, the ships sheer size and weight would have pullled them right down with it, they wouldn't have stood a chance

Not sure, only the last........3rd or so of the ship realy could have sucked anyone down, so that is what 200 feet of hull, and about 10,000 tons plus for it to sink another 10,000 tons of water. Probably a 200 foot long chunk of metal weiging 20,000 tons, i doubt anyone managed to free themself from the suction. Anyone picked up must have been in the water and some distance from the ship when it went down.

and eh, hw is manuel treating you like dirt? saying your name? johno! take any offence? somehow i do not think so..........but it is your problem am not interfearing with it

cheerio
