Then why did you have to keep writing my name? I know my own name!

And I know that I'm not the only on this site who feels this way, but I figure it's time something is said.

TitanicSoul, you have been nothing but rude and biased to many people on this site. You asked a question, got the answer, and came back saying you knew that! That is very biased.

And you are putting people down because they watch Star Wars. If you don't like it, fine. But say it in a more respectful way.

I'm saying this, not to be mean, but to let you know that some people are sick of it. This site is supposed to be fun. Not a place to judge and be disrespectful to others.

In the 'TITANIC CANNOT BE RAISED' thread you did exactly that. I politely tried to help answer your question (as to why no-one had posted anything new on the thread), and in response you said you already knew the answer.

I wondered why you'd ask something you already knew the answer to, thereby wasting other people's time, and when I asked you why you had asked it you said it was none of my business and told me to respect 'your' thread.

I replied that I had taken the time to try and help you, and you had another go at me. Just now, you've told Jilian to 'shut your crap' -- hardly a polite thing to say.

You may not be, but I'd guess that others are judging your behaviour as rude -- although I'm assuming you wouldn't care anyway.

Can't we all try hard to be friendly and polite to each other from now on?

Regards,

Mark.

It would have been good for all of us if you'd said that in your reply to me, rather than be as rude as you were. It could have avoided all this antagonism. Your main question seemed to be why no-one was posting on the thread, and I said it was presumably because no-one had anything else to add, as we all seemed to have agreed that Titanic shouldn't be raised. I just meant that by way of an explanation to your question as to why no-one was posting.

Are you talking to me or to Jillian here?

It looks like I've missed one of the 'l's out. My apologies, Jillian, for the typo.

Meanwhile I won't draw attention to your numerous spelling and grammatical errors throughout your postings, Titanicsoul.

Regards,

Mark.

Yet more hostile debates, it is the norm now.

I think what we have hear is an ultracation which has been blown way way way out of proportion. I still do not see how saying someones name is 'bad' yet jillian takes offence so there fore do not agrevate her like that. Manuel IF you know somethings theres no point in asking about it, or perhaps you mean you want more 'detail' which is a little different as you know.

Anyway, let us get back on track here

As I explained in my post to the 'TITANIC CANNOT BE RAISED' thread, it seemed to be rude of you to expect people to answer a question to which you already knew the answer.

I thought you'd been deliberately rude, so I asked why you'd asked the question, and you responded by saying 'it's not of your business' and 'it's my thread n' respect that!' Those replies seemed argumentative, provocative, and rude (for instance, believing that it was exclusively 'your' thread and you had the right to boss other posters around).

Your next replies like 'does it really matter?' and 'i don't care!!' just seemed to be sarcastic, which reinforced my impression that you were being rude.

I think, all in all, things have been blown out of proportion (as Bell has just said).

You explained (in this thread) why you asked what you did, but if you'd explained that to start with then I wouldn't have thought you were being rude. I say that (and I've put it in bold type) because it might help people on the forum avoid unncessary arguments. I think it would certainly help yourself enjoy the forum more, which would be a good thing IMHO.

Since it seems you weren't intentionally rude, I can move on.

Bell and me have both offered friendly advice which would help you, if you wanted to be helped.
