Experience an historic dinner unique unto itself when the Queen Mary pays tribute to the 94th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic on Saturday, April 15, 2006. The twist to the evening is the focus on the Third Class passenger experience. The authentic Third Class dinner will be prepared specially by the Queen Mary's award winning chef, Thierry Ruaux. This journey through culinary history will begin at 5:00 p.m. with a special guided tour of Titanic, The Artifact Exhibition aboard the Queen Mary led by Exhibition Designer, John Zaller, of Premier Exhibitions, Inc. Dinner will follow in the Brittania Salon, with a thought-provoking lecture on the Third Class experience by famed author and historian Don Lynch. The evening will conclude with lively entertainment. Reflecting the 94th anniversary of the tragic sinking, the price for the unique evening is $94.00 per person and includes parking. Reservations may be purchased by calling Jacki Fanzo at (562) 499-1721. Period Edwardian attire is admired, but not required.
