Until Walter Lords' 1958 movie "A Night To Remember" came out, the story of the Titanic was largly forgotten. The movie was a hit and the interest in Titanic was reborn. Of course it dwindled slightly in the years since the movie, but when Dr. Robert D. Ballard discovered her final resting place in 1985, Titanic was thrust into society once again, this time for good. Since her discovery and exploration, the marketing of the Titanic had turned into a money making goldmine. R.M.S. Titanic INC. began recovering artifacts and putting them into traveling exhibits, and many went to see relics from the sunken liner. Her interest grew even more when James Cameron came out with the movie "Titanic" in 1998. The movie was a major hit, and Titanic's public interest soared through the roof. Since then her story and legacy have attracted the likes of many, and will continue to do so far into the 21st century.

In Branson Missouri they opened up a new mussem that people can tour or rent out for a special occasion. I think it would be awesome to get married in it.

I personally think because of things like muessems, moives, books, games, and all of the new reasearch and imaging technology that it's just throwing gas on an already burning fire. There are groves of people out there who are crazy about this ship. We can see that just by this website existing - do a search on the net for the titanic, you will find site after site about Titanic.

Besides the majestic grandure of the ship, 1,523 people died ...if we forgot about all of those people it would be as horrible as forgetting about all of the people who died in the 9-11 disaster.
