Likes the Olympic? I do. She seems to be the "forgotten ship" of the Olympic-class liners. I believe she was unappreciated. Don't get me wrong, I do love the Titanic, but the Olympic is less known and liked, and I guess I favor those things...

likes Olympic? Me too! Yes, she's become the forgotten sister of the trio, but we know a bit more of her than say Britannic. She had a long career, and Olympic was the ONLY one to see "retirement" (if you call being cut up 'retirement'). One things for sure, if I was around in 1935, I'd buy her in a heartbeat. Then I'd turn her into a floating museum permanately dock off of Nova Scotia. Why Nova Scotia? It'd be a short drive to the Titanic cemetary out there.

May they all rest in peace.

The Olympic was indeed a grand liner of the White Star Line. Her nickname "Old Reliable" represented her well. Mark Chirnside has a book out just about the RMS Olympic. It's called "RMS Olympic: Titanic's Sister. It is a very good read I might add. I recommend it for all those who want to know more about Titanic's forgotten older sister.
