Follow the link below to a site showing 3 pictures of the Thompson Dry Dock and surrounding areas of the Harland & Wolff shipyard.. Click on any one of these pictures and get a 360 degree view of the area (as if you were standing on that spot and turned around.

The first pic places you on the edge of the dock. This is the very dock that was built in Harland & Wolff to hold the Olympic class liners. Imagine Titanic filling this dock and towering high above it.

The second shows the interior of the Pump House, (the red brick building on the left of the dock in the first pic). This "pump" was used to fill and empty this dock.

The third pic is taken from the top of mast on the building behind the dock(the funny looking double platform thing on top of the building). The ship behind this building is the HMS Caroline, a First World War Light Cruiser. The area above its funnels and to the right of its mast is the area where Titanic, Olympic & Britannic were built. (Note the 2 small cranes, on the right of this area that were used in Titanic's construction.

Thanks for posting that, it was cool. I cannot believe the Titanic, Olympic and Britannic were built in that dock. For some reason I had pictured it would be bigger.
I also could not find the cranes in the third picture. I rotated all the way around but I was kinda unsure of where they would be. Can you help me? Thanks.

The cranes are directly above the funnel on the right on HMS Caroline, just at the waters edge. They are small(about the size of a van), and you can just about make out the arms reaching up at a 45 deg. angle. Hope you can see them.

Okay, thanks I saw them! So they were built over by the cranes, in the slips, then towed into the docks to be fitted out...right? Or is it the other way around? Sorry just trying to remember it exactly.
