I got both soundtracks when the movie came out and have had em since. Still love em (listening to em now). My favorite peices are:

Titanic:

"Leaving Port"~ This one is hard to describe. I love the lower, deeper tone of this one, in the beginning (and really through out) it really emphasizes the power and strength of the ship (esp. with that sound effect near the beginning, I love that) and as the song goes on it moves into the beautiful sequences that puts the grace and beauty in Titanic as she rides on the water.

"Take Her to Sea, Mr. Murdoch"~ I really like all the Southampton themes, but I like this one because of all the things occuring in the movie as this one goes. My favorite sequence being when the engines are started and pumped (really one of, if not my favorite scene in the movie). I also like this one because it's longer :)

"Hard to Starboard"~ I like the maloncolny chords played in some parts throught this peice (like when the iceberg passes in front of Jack and Rose). And of course I like visualizing the movie in my mind as it goes.

"A Life so Changed"~ I really love the whole soundtrack

Back to Titanic:

"Titanic Suite"~ It's just beautiful
"Alexander's Ragtime Band"~ Everything I Salonisti did was wonderful.
"Jack Dawson's Luck"~ I love the violin in this one.
"Building Panic"~ It includes the most dramatic scenes in the movie (the destruction of the grand staircase/the people drowing, and the doors, walls, and chairs being knocked out the hallway by the water.)
"Nearer My God to Thee"~ Again I Salonisti, I love to play this one in my violin.
"Come Josephine, in My Flying Machine"~ Although I wish Enya could have done this one, I still love it. It's beautiful and it has personal meaning too. I have my own violin peice I do with this one.

"Epilogue"~ This one is just beautiful too (esp. toward the end).

I really wish I Salonisti could have done an entire album from this movie (they do have a Titanic album, which inlcudes some songs from this movie though). They just did such a wonderful job.

I love both soundtracks but I do think Back to Titanic is better. I wish Horner had included the cues from the beginning and end of the movie though. I'll probably rip those from the DVD (I plan on making my own sountrack with stuff straight from the DVD).
