Natalie, how did you study [i:4c9292ad78]Titanic[/i:4c9292ad78] at school? Was your teacher a [i:4c9292ad78]Titanic[/i:4c9292ad78] freak? It's kind of unusual to hear about it actually taught in school.

We we're learning shakespeare in English but we got through it so quickly we did a short piece on Titanic. It was great coz I knew everything about it. How did you get involved with Titanic?

[quote:668a9c534d="Megantic06"]I'm new to the board.. but i am a complete titanic fanatic.. i'm 16 years old and everyone at my school that knows about my fascination just finds it so weird. At one point i was falling asleep in my world history class and my teacher just randomly said the word "titanic" and i perked right back up and he said "i knew that would do it" and then went on to have me tell the class everything i knew about the event, and everyone was amazed.. anyways, I was just wondering if anyone else on here had the same weird obsession?[/color:668a9c534d][/quote:668a9c534d]

i am very close i try to get hold of anything titanic i can

Nutty, is one the sthree foot Revell model? I have had that quite a while, really a nice one, but it's still not finished - I think I should have started with a smaller one and gone up.

[quote:f576fed154="Raven"]I have a weird obsession, but my teacher never did that to me. My classmates do know about it though. Especially my friends. I'm always reading Titanic books at school and they say, "Again!? Dang..I never knew someone [/color:f576fed154]could read so many books about a certain thing and never get tired of it!" I mean I read like 3 books in one week..that's very rare for me. I've watched the movie like 3 times in a row every night, I have two books, they're "How to draw Titanic" and another book about finding the Titanic, and what time it sank stuff like that. I'm gonna buy Titanic on DVD as soon as I have money for it. :)[/quote:f576fed154]

Raven, I've heard that there's only one ilustration in [i:f434883a64]Draw the Titanic[/i:f434883a64] that actually teaches you to draw the ship - is that true?

I've got one myself.. it's actually a kids book more so but I really don't care.. If you want one, try ebay (that's where I got mine), Amazon or Barnes and noble. Comes in Hardcover and softback.

Barnes and noble usually can order books for you, so if you have one locally you can ask them to order it for you.. According to the B&N website the ISBN #'s are

ISBN: 0613146840 (for Hardback)
ISBN: 0439076706 (For Paperback)

Thanks - if it's only one pic of the ship, to me that's not worth it...
