How did everyone come to be interested in the Titanic? For me it was when I was 7 and seen Ghostbusters 2 :) . After seeing the movie I was interested as to what that big ship was. A week or so later I seen the childrens book written by Ballard in a mail order catalog at school and it was all down hill from there :)

I became interested in 3rd grade. Our class watched a video all about the Titanic. I can't really explain how I got hooked but ever since then I've always held a great interest in the Titanic. I guess maybe it was the facination that this huge elaborate ship, thought to be unsinkable, hits an iceberg and disappears to the bottom of the ocean forever.

[color=#0900ff:cf4d2623a7][/color:cf4d2623a7] I became interested in the Titanic in 5th grade when I read and did a book report on Walter Lord's novel [u:cf4d2623a7] A Night To Remember[/u:cf4d2623a7]. It quickly became an obsession of truly Titanic proportions. :D Since then, my book collection has grown substantially...I have about 30 books, all offering different perspectives and twists on the tragedy. I have drawn and bought many Titanic pictures, the most recent of them hanging in my dorm room. And of course, I have Titanic-themed T-shirts and hats that I like to wear whenever my family goes on a cruise to get the passengers worked up, hehe :!: Oh, for those of u interested, I have cheat sheets for "Titanic: Adventure Out of Time". I can give out pointers if u E-mail me. I hope to befriend many of u, for we all share a need to keep the memory of Titanic alive.
