[quote:a2be0082fa="Tom Dyer"]I do not know why but my favorite part is when the water comes crashing through the glass dome. :D[/quote:a2be0082fa]

I like this part too. With the music that's on in this scene, it's like the ultimate demise of the ship. The Grand Staircase finally being destroyed. The whole sinking of the ship, while tragic, is my favorite part of the movie. I think it's just all of the emotions you go through when watching it...it's shocking to see it done so well and with such great music. I'm speechless every time I see the sinking of Titanic.

My favorite scenes are...
1. Jack beats that guy for 2 3rd class tickets.
2. Rose and Jack look at his sketches.
3. Jack takes Rose to that 3rd class party. ( I learned to step dance the way Jack did in the movie. It's really hard.)
4. Mr. Ballard and his team show (older) Rose the drawing, and all of her other merchandise that belonged to her that went down with the Titanic. (Her mirror, clip, etc.)

Actually, that wasn't Mr. Ballard that Bill Paxton played. The character was named Brock Lovett.

my fav scenes are:
-when jack draws rose;
-when rose leaves the boat to go back to jack;
-when theyr on the front of the ship and rose says "im flying";
-when she dies and she goes back to the ship to jack.

I have to agree. the drawing scene is on of my favorites but i have many others. my other favs arw:
-'I'm the king of the world scene with jack and fabrizioon the bow,
-the fly by shot of the ship,
-the spiting scene,
-the 'I'm flying scene'
-when TITANIC hits the iceburg,
-the dome being obliterated.

People think i'm wierd for this but i really like the scene were it show you all the plates being demolished and where the staterooms and their furniture fall forward !

I like those parts too....it shows you what would have really happened when she sank. Not many people would have been able to see that happen, but when they put it in the movie, it really makes you feel bad for everything that's going on.

when i saw these parts, i thought "why did this happen? why did some many people have to die?". but in some ways it was worth it.

I think these parts make the movie all that more realalistic (sp?) and makes one realize that's how the china fell, it floated off the tables that were already set for Breakfast, etc..

the other thing that makes it really seem realistic is when the officer on the lifeboat shouts 'bloddy pull faster and pull' in the backround in that scene and the scene after where they are running to the stern you can here that furniture maving and the glassware and crockory smashing .
