Hey fellow titanic fans! I just wanted to tell u that there is a documentry on titanic. its on the National Geograic channel.on Saturday Oct 7,2006. i hope u get a chance 2 see it!

By the way, I don't have the National Geographic Channel. Would you let us who can't watch it know what it was about?

I've looked at the schedule for the next three days and there are no Titanic Documentaries on NGC. except the one i watched yesterday----"Seconds from Disaster" in which they scientifically prove that the Man installed rivets in Titanic's hull are what gave out. They were made of a different metal than the steel ones that were installed via machine...They were made of rod Iron and Slag (slag is a harderner to make the iron rivets stronger,like steel, however using too much of this substance made the rivets weaker.) and when the pressure of the iceberg hit, it just broke the iron rivets, and caused the spaces between the plates allowing the water to come in. Its a very good program i highly suggest that everyone watch it. I'll also lookout to see if there is a "New" documentary but i havent seen anything on my 1000 channels except for a repeat of "Seconds From Disaster"---be warned its a series looking at several tragedies....you gotta make sure that its the titanic one.

Ahh! It's another " Titanic's rivits and steel suck program", man, like they have not overkilled these types of documentaries!!

I think the first one was "Titanic: Anatomy of a Disaster in 1997, or 98" on the discovery channel.

Well, if it was just about that I do not think I missed too much, as really it would not matter much if the Titanic's rivits were made of modern Titanium, she still would have been pierced by that berg.
