This might be an irrelovent question, but what shipwreck do you think would be the most terrifying to experience and why?

Titanic? Lusitania? Empress of Ireland? Whilhelm Gustloff? Battlecruiser Hood? .......

My vote would be for the Empress of Ireland.

After it was hit by the Storstad at night on the St. Lawrence River, the power went off quickly and the passengers had to find their way out darkened, listing ship that they got onto that very day (so most did not know their way around it too well). The ship rolled over and sank pretty quickly, in the fog too!

I guess the Lusitania would be second, since it sank in 20 minutes, was listing and its power went off pretty soon after the torpedo struck.

My vote, the Empress of Ireland- Indefinetley. Imagine having to climb out portholes... then getting Washed off into the waves, the power going off, being crushed by falling furniture..

Lusitania.

Mainly because if you look at the wreck, the thing is practically totaled beyond all recognition, and for something that big to be like that........ Well it is a frightning thought.
