Well, It's been 90 years today (Nov. 21) since Britannic struck a German mine and sank in 55 minutes. Sadly, atleast 2 lifeboats were launched prematurely and drawn into the still turning screws and chopped to bits! At least 30 people were lost, but 1,136 were saved. Britannic only had 5 successful (round-trip) voyages, before she was lost on her 6th (out bound) trip. It NEVER carried a paying passenger, NEVER got the rest of her interiors installed, and NEVER got to see "retirement" (like Olympic)!

Indeed, may they all rest in peace. I found this movie clip (plus some others), but this shows Britannic slipping beneath the wave.

R.I.P. Britannic and those lost that day! :^(

Thats a good movie of it but its off a bit.

The Britannic went down by the bow like the Titanic but much faster.

And Most of the Pictures here are from the Book "Ghost Ships" or something like that. They are mostly Paintings ;) But thats what she looked like pretty much. She had 2 Different Looks.

The look of a Hospital Ship and the Identical Look of the Titanic and Olympic.
