I really liked both..
But I'd go for 1st class because of the 'nearer my God to thee' part.. It was out of this world btw why is there only a '1st Class band' option in your poll? :? |

Yeah I'd have to say that I liked the 3rd class band better. The 1st class one was boring. Their music didn't have any life.

First class wasn't so much boring, it was more slow paced (With a few exceptions) for dances such as the waltz. Third class were more upbeat and faster paced, that's why they seem more "interesting"

I like the 3rd class band....however, I tend to like the more slow paced music..so I liked the 1st class band better. I do suppose this derives from my being in band from the 5th grade on up to graduation. :)
