I don't remember where I saw it, but wasn't the Titanic taller than St. Pauls cathedral. I think they used that to help bolster hype around the ship. St. Pauls was the tallest structure back then.

I'm looking in my Titanic book. It has a picture copied on the page that says "Surpassing The Greatest Buildings and Memorials of Earth." What looks in the picture to be a Cathedral, is a smaller structure than a few other building in the ad. It looks like it's the size of the Washington Monument. Which is smaller than two other buildings.
