I'm not sure if she ment the ship or the movie...Thomas Andrews was the designer...he came into the picture when the first designer left....he had a disagreement over the number of lifeboats...Bruce Ismay wanted the bare minum and the orginal designer(I'll try to find hs name)wanted more, he was over ruled and quit...he wanted no part of it.

I guess Andrews can be credited with the design of Britannic, but considering he took it from Olympic class plans, Carlisle was indeed the original creator of Titanic. Anyway, didn't Harland and Wolf Chairman Lord William James Pierre have something to do with the construction of the ship? Decisions, design and so forth. Or was he just a "pencil pusher" ? Also, there were a few other navel architects that could be attributed to being "creators of the Titanic" right? Maybe Edward Wilding for one? I dont know if I have seen a complete list of their names. Would be nice to know them! |

DING DING DING, yea that was it, alexander the great (God knows how I mixed that up, perhaps I should lay off the booze
  .Piere had a say in the desing to the extent, he was building it and had the power to veto plans laid down by 'Alexander' or Andews on anyone else, but nothing on the technical side if understand me. Martyn |

the craeter was an man who mr andrews was his successer but he wanted more life boats on board but bruce ismay didnt want so he quit at harland and wolf and went to work as an enger for the board an trade he also then added the restrictions of the vessels in 1912 after the titanic sank which the new designer mr andres piere asenden and an mager director of the company went down with his ship and sank
