Ema here,

This post will tell you who and why-made the Titanic. The most succesful person to invent Titanic was Andrews. He did it because, he had his dreams to be a ship director but now he is in a place were people never end. And we all of course now that Andrews went to a place were angels are every time, fron now and then.

It was Mr. Bruce Ismay of White Star Line who had the original idea of 3 HUGE and luxarious ships ever made by human hands: Olympic, Titanic, and Britannic, respecively in order of creation, with Titanic being the largest of the 3 sisters. The idea came about to boost profit for White Star in competition with other ocean liners making "big ships"; ie: The Lusitania by John Brown & Co. When, Titanic sank, WSL ordered Olympic to be decomissioned. Britannic, which was almost done with construction, was given the same order, but saved by the British Royal Navy. All luxuaries were removed in order for White Star auctions to pay on going Titanic legal battles. The ship was given a fresh coat of white paint with a big red cross on it... a new hospital ship for the British and Allies in WWI. However, Britannic sank in the Mediterrian Sea during the War... by a German torpeado...

Sorry, got on my soap box...
