I think there are many famous quotes in the movie, but in my opinion most people know the quotes (I don't really know what Jack and Rose exactly said in the original movie because I'm from Germany and I didn't watch TITANIC in English): "I'm the king of the world" and "Jack I can fly" or something likely. Do you agree? (I think the first one is even more famous than the second one)

I watched the movie in English today and the quote I meant was not "Jack I can fly", that would be the literal translation. In fact it was "Jack I'm flying" and I'm sure you'll all be SO interested in my post.

First off..what does that poll have to do with your topic? I think the most famous line from the movie is,"I'm King of the world!"

As for the poll, I voted to upgrade it and sail it! That's what ships were made for! And if the Constitution and Constellation still sail, then certainly a turn of the century liner can continue on with upgrades.

Mr. Ismay saying "She can't sink!" Is also an important quote I think. Even though I don't like the man

It may not be the most famous quote, but I just loved it when Jack said, "Well that may be, but with all due respect, I'm not the one hanging off the back of a ship."

The most common is "I'm the king of the world" Jack

However, the following have always stuck in my mind:

"Well Mr. Ismay, I believe you may get your headlines" Smith

"Look at the size of that thing, you would have went straight to the bottom"

"Its been 84 years and I can still smell the fresh paint, the sheets had never been slept in, the china had never been used. Titanic was called the ship of dreams and it was, it really was" old rose

"Promise me rose, that you'll never let go" jack

"You know me rose, I didn't do this, Rose you know me!" Jack

"Why are the life boat being paritaly filled" Andrews

"Your money cannot save me anymore than it can save you" Murdock

"A real man makes his own luck, right jack?" Cal

I could go on like this for quite a while...
