What myths (or urban legends, whatever) has everyone heard about [i:60e1165966]Titanic[/i:60e1165966]? My favorite is the Princess Anaksanumun (yes, same name as the one in [i:60e1165966]The Mummy[/i:60e1165966]) who is brought aboard by an American. Supposedly the guy bought it while in Egypt, and had all kinds of nasties going on as the mummy was cursed.

It really takes off when the mummy not only survives the sinking (it was in one of the lifeboats), gets to New York, and sells it to a man who puts it on the [i:60e1165966]Empress of Ireland[/i:60e1165966] and it sinks again.

Anybody else got any?

we had to write about a myth that meant something to us lol

i dont know if it could qualify as a myth, but i love the story about Rigel the dog and the one that Loraine Allison survived and she was rescued by either Thomas Andrews or Captain Smith and they lived in secrecy in America. ooh and that Alice Cleaver was a child murderer, i hate that one, its sad that the poor woman is slandered for something she didnt even do

Can someone please tell me the story about Lorraine Allison please, I never heard about it before.
