I agree with Mr. Titanic,
It was a combination of things that made the movie so great.

The great characters who played, Rose, Jack, Cal and Old Rose

The special effects on and off the ship.

The suspense, love story and historic accuracy of the story Titanic by James Cameron

The song was just a haunting melody that you just couldn't seem to get out of your head

Iliana,

I remember just about every radio station in my area played the song by Celine and when you went into the Dept. stores it was playing.

It was something that stayed in your head, the haunting melody.

But, guess what (what kind of Titanic fan am I) I do not have the sound track!!!!!

go get one!!! I'm sure you'll love it, even if you don't like classical music. James Horner is AMAZING!

The song fits the movie great, but it isn't actually IN the movie, they play it at the end. I believe the rest of the music, composed by James Horner, really added to the movie!
So I say Celine Dion did not MAKE the movie
:D
