The only problem I encountered is you guys have two seasons - the rainy season and summer.

Yeah, unfortunately that's true. Whenever it snows in Portland or other parts of Oregon where there isn't usually snow during the winter, the city just shuts down. Most Oregonians are not equipped with the proper gear/tools to drive on roads in that condition. Snow usually falls about every four years here, so kids still in school get to enjoy a few snow days off every now and then.
I do love our Indian summers, though. |
