Hiya people Does any1 know the prices that the Titanic charged for first class passengers to go on the ship? i need to know for my hwk!

According to my book 882 1/2 questions about the Titanic it says
A single first class ticket averaged 86british pounds ($430USD) The two deluxe parlor suites cost 660british pounds ($3,300 USD) And accoring to Titanic Fortune and Fate First class passage was ecpensive but well within the means of the passengers like John Jacob Astor who paid just over 224brish pounds ($411USD) for himself, his wife, her maid and his manservand,. A single man could travel first class for 28british pounds ($51USD). Those are 2 different figures I know and the last 2 from Fortune and fate, just gave the Pound currency, I translated it over at a converter site.. Maybe someone else has another figure or one of the same to back up these.. |
