i watched the movies on the history channel today and i realize that it would be better to take it out. i mean, they said that in 5 - 10 yrs it would be one with the ocean floor. if they take it out it would stay for a much longer time than under wter.

Yea, but those secrets she holds are no good to the people who lost family members on her and want some answers. If I had family on it I would most defiantely want it brought up specifically to answer all my questions....

i agree with you, now that i saw these movies on the history channel. i know that if they dont bring it up now they wont be able to. i was, i guess you could say "torn", between taking it out and not, but im taking your side.

I like the idea (since I am person who wants everything old to live on)...
but on the other hand it would be total tragedy if something would went wrong while raising the ship. I guess we just have to wait for some years when the technology gets even smarter (we just have to hope that the ship will be waiting too).

I hav heard that people way before Ballard's discovery wanted to raise Titanic. They did not know it was broken in two. Even so, it would problaby be easier and as costly to go ahead and make a new Titanic.
