IRA is a group that wants Britain out of Ireland all together. But they are extremists, many murders of protestant’s are blamed on the IRA, and then a retaliation attack will take place. It is like a slightly smaller version of the Middle East thing that is going on. Still very sad though it goes on, Scotland has two major football teams (soccer) and when ever something like the murder of a catholic or protestant occurs, something happens here to. It is so sad, but for example, every time those two teams play, at least one person is murdered and it all connects to Northern Ireland. Religious hate ridge goes on all the time in Ireland and Scotland!
