Would you if given the chance like to visit the titanic in one of those subs? Id love to but id be a bit frighten in case something went wrong.

I'm mixed on that actually. I don't think it's right to make money off of "tours" for people to go down to the wreck. For salvage and study, fine but as a "tour" I dont agree with.

But on the other hand it'd be nice to see the wreck, although I'd probably get clostrophobic or something due to the small space for such a long time.

I think that'd be one artifact I'd really like to see. And they could learn so much about what happend too..so many questions unanswered could be answered by finding that. Although chances are it was on the bridge or in one of the officers quarters and probably not protected either in a safe or leather bag so the sea creatures have probably eaten it up already. And haven't the officer's quarters caved in??

I myself think its gone like you say it wasnt protected and yes it would answer many questions and make good reading. I wouldnt even have thought of that one well done.

The Rubyait would be interesting to see..a book covered in precious stones, how often do you see one of those?!?! But that too would be long gone unless its in the pursers safe that is well protected..
