There's only one version of Cameron's movie avalible at the present time, although there are plans to make a special edition dvd with a few extra scenes.
As for other movies on Titanic, you've got: Saved from the Titanic - 1912 (starring Dorothy Gibson, who was a survivor) Titanic - 1915 I believe this is an Italian version actually.. Titanic - 1943 Titanic - 1953 A Night To Remember - 1958 S.O.S. Titanic - 1979 Raise the Titanic - 1980 Titanic - 1984 Titanic - 1993 Titanic - 1996 (Catherine Zeta Jones version... I personally do not like this one) James Cameron's Titanic - 1997 Femme de chambre du Titanic, La - 1997 ("The Chambermaid on the Titanic) Titanic Town 1998 |

are they going to release the real 5-hour long movie or just few extra scenes?

The only version that will be released is rumored to be released later this year and it's suppose to only include 20mins of extra footage, which I've heard will be more of Jack and Rose.... personally I'd rather them put in more historical scenes...

goodness. I don't like how the whole movie is just them. It's a very historical ship, they should have had more of it in the movie!

There were many historical scenes filmed, but cut from the final version. I don't know why they're putting back scenes of Jack and Rose and not the ship itself... IMO that's much more important.

It won't happen for the simple fact Cameron will always have something extra to release if he doesn't release it all at once and can once again all over again earn millions..

Wow...can he say GREED?!! I mean, everything he does turns to gold, does he really need the extra millions?? Or maybe he strives to be the next Bill Gates. :) |
