I'm at a loss to know why you're both wondering! :D As I've already said earlier in this thread: 'Californian and Carpathia sank in 1915 and 1918 respectively.'

No the Californian hasnt been explored because it is deep water. Close to the same depth as Titanic. So it isnt worth spending money to look for her.

It was mentioned in a documentary on the search for the Carpathia. They had considered looking for the Californian but it was too deep. Whereas Carpathia is in only a few hundred feet of water.

I see. But is the depth as deep as Titanic? From what I'd been able to gather, although it might be deeper than the Carpathia it was not as deep as Titanic. I haven't done any primary source research on that.

Pity they haven't explored her, isn't it? :?
