I also think that the Olympic not the Titanic sank. I believe hat it was also to fulfil an insurance claim. I have tried to explain this point to count less people but they keep saying things like Titanic's log book and paperwork were in the wreckage, which it obviously would be o make everything seem like it was actually Titanic, NOT Olympic. They don't get it

there is a possibility like that, but i dont think that they did it. i just dont think it was possible back then. im not saying that they were stupid, but with the interest in titanic somebody wouldve noticed that the ship differes somehow from what it was described to be. i know that earlier i was argiung from the other side of this forum (i was agruing that they couldve switched the two ships) but now i dont think its possible.

that is just plain stupid the titanic sank it would be stupid to use the olympic for the titanics maid voyage it was one of the biggest events in the world at that time they would not have faked it and to change ship would mean they knew it was going to sink and that would be premaditated murdered of over a thousand people
the world morned the loss of the titanic and it is disgraceful to say such things about its memory and memory of the people who died upon it and in the icy cold waters of the north atlanic |

Later in this week I'll post parts of my "Did Olympic and Titanic switch" article.
The RMS Olympic was sold for scrap in 1935. If anybody wants any information about the Olympic or the switch theory please ask me here or PM me. Tom |

Some of the differences are:
Olympic's promenade deck was fully open but Titanic's was fitted with windowed covers over 1/3 of the length of the promenade deck. The Olympic was 45,324 tons and Titanic was 46,328. I'll try to post more about the differences tomorrow. Tom |

I have to totally disagree with you on the switch.....the titanic definetly did sink there is too much evidence that they have recovered from the ocean floor... 1. a deck of cards that was recovered during an expedition to the wreck site in 1993 with the titanic's name on them...why would they switch them? 2. a gold pocket watch was recovered in 1987 that belonged to thomas brown who was on the titanic with his wife and 16 yr old daughter they survived he didnt ..the watch was returned to the daughter when she was 91 yrs old......now tell me did all 3 get on the wrong boat?.........................................
