If you would be kind enough to help can you please give me a fact about the titanic. please don't make them obvious (e.g. it sank)
also, if any of you know about them, can you also give me a little information about the coutts family. as they are the ones i have been told to base my work on. i already have a bit but....

Jack Philips told the wireless operator on the Californian to shut up when he told Jack about ice warnings. With that the Californian wireless operator shut off his all his equiptment and went to bed. When Titanic was sinking Jack tried to contact the Californian, but no luck. Californian was only 18 miles away from Titanic.

some people said they couldnt save them anyway. heres my fact though:
the moment murdoch ordered the engines to be put in reverse, he had decided the fate of the ship. it was going to hit the iceberg. had he ordered that a minute earlier or later the its most likely that the titanic wouldve stayed afloat at least until help came or even strong enough to get to a dock.

The Coutts family were 3rd class passengers. Mother Winnie coutts and two children, William and Leslie. it doesn't say if leslie was a boy or a girl. All three survived the sinking no father was with them. not much else i can find on them.
