Okay, my friend claims that Rose Dewitt Bukater is her great great great grandmother. So, can someone help me explain to her thta she is insane!

Firstly i do not think she is a fourth generation of Rose Dewitt Bukater, Secondly it should be looked up in a family tree.

I have a copy of the passagers list and crew list there was never a rose dewitt bukater on the Titanic it was a name they made up for the new titanic movie staring kate winslett there was a Jack dawson but he was a crew member that worked with the boilers

that's what i was going to say. there never was a rose dewitt bukater, as there never was jack dawson. there was a j. dawson but both of them were fictional characters.

In a documentary I saw on the history channel it said that there was a jack dawson as a crew member on the titanic. He was in the boiler room and died there his full name was like jackson or something and when they notified his next of kin they send a letter to his girlfriend in london which they addressed as mrs. Jack Dawson. the show was called The Real Jack Dawson. but as for Rose there was no rose decater at all in any form or fashion only in hollywood.

i saw this on the history channel too but the one i saw said that it was just j. dawson. and he didnt have anybody and nobody looked for him. they found his body and send it to ireland or somewhere there.

You must have seen a different one then blade so far i have seen three different version of that very subject since the movie titanic came out but bacisly the jack dawson on the movie wasn't real.
